Mike Chou
Founder

- Mike Chou has more than 30 years experience in both marketing / advertising theory and practice. He is very experienced in the field of marketing research and marketing planning. Most important of all, he is a marketing expert trained to detect changing market trends, the changing Taiwan consumers, and life styles in the Taiwan area.
- After receiving a Master Degree with a major in Communication Sociology, Mike Chou held positions in several market research agencies, advertising agencies and business corporations. Before founding Viewpoint., he was Media consultant and Director of Ogilvy & Mather (Taiwan) Research and Planning Center, in charge of account strategic planning and marketing research. In addition, he was a member of Ogilvy & Mather Strategic & Creative Review Board.
- Over the past two decades, Mr. Chou consults thousands of research studies, especially experienced in industry and business study, lifestyle & value study, advertising & media study, corporate image study, dynamic market trend … and etc.
- Mr. Chou currently is internal consultant on statistic analysis and marketing strategy at Viewpoint.
Stephanie Lien
Managing Director & Qualitative Team Leader

- Stephanie Lien has over 25 years experience in marketing and media. She was a graduate of City University of New York, majoring in mass communication. She was a marketing planner in department store and afterwards a reporter of the New York Apple TV. She used to be the researcher at FCB Taiwan before joining the Viewpoint 24 years ago.
- In addition to quantitative research, Ms. Lien is also an excellent moderator on focus group study. She once received the intensive training courses in the U.S. During the twenty years in the Viewpoint, she has moderated over 1000 focus group discussions. As a professional moderator, she is familiar with versatile industries. She specializes in issues including credit card, financial service, computer related industry, boutique, telecommunication products, general merchandise, food, beverage, spirit, cosmetics and media.
- Ms. Lien is the current Managing Director and the head of Qualitative team of Viewpoint. She is also one of the few experienced moderators in Taiwan.
Hsin-Yu Lee
Vice President

- Hsin-Yu Lee has more than 20 years experience in marketing research. She got a Master degree of University of York, UK, majoring in sociology. She used to be the account executive at A.C. Nielsen Taiwan before joining the Viewpoint since 1998.
- In addition to quantitative research, Ms. Lee is also a professional moderator on in-depth interview as well as on focus group. During the 14 years in the Viewpoint, she conducted in-depth interviews and focus groups on versatile topics, and the interviewees are usually senior management level. She specializes in issues including medical industry, health care, diary products, financial services, personal and corporate banking, computer related industry, entertainment and beverage. She conducts over thousands focus groups.
- On medical industry, Ms. Lee conducts issues including prescription drugs as well as OTC drugs. Topics range from new drug launch, OTC medicine positioning, campaign message testing, to consumer behavior, etc. Target respondents include medical professionals, distributors/retailers, and consumers.
Angela Yen
Vice President

- 15-year experiences in marketing
- Angela Yen has more than 15 years experience in marketing. She got a BA degree in University of British Columbia, majoring in Psychology. Ms. Yen joined Viewpoint 15 years ago.
- Ms. Yen received very good training in quantitative and qualitative researches. She is very professional and has sufficient experiences on in-depth interview as well as focus group. Ms. Yen specializes various topics, especially 3C products and service (computer, communication, consumer electronics), car industry, sub-culture, entertainment, and so on. The interviewees range from young teenagers to top management. In addition to lifestyle and behavior issues, missions also include creative test, concept test, campaign/ads pre-test, and new product test.
Regina Yang
Associate Director

- Honours Degrees in Business Administration, University of Wales
- 7 years experience in advertising & digital marketing
- Regina Yang has strong digital background; she was an Assistant Manager at Mr.6 Digital Marketing agency and afterwards as a Digital Account Manager at J. Walter Thompson Taipei before joining the ViewPoint.
- Regina specialized on brand development, brand strategy, brand positioning, brand analyze and digital marketing etc. She has conducted more than hundred successful events /digital campaign /brand image developments etc.
- She is familiar with online research, especially online qualitative research (online bulletin board), and she has sufficient experiences on brand development, digital marketing and well-understanding at consumer behavior.
Angie Chen
Associate Director

- 8-year experience in medical research, product management & marketingg
- Angie has strong medical background and product management and marketing experience in medical device and nutritional supplement products which support her specialty in health industry.
- She conducted researches from various perspectives, including suppliers, consultant agency, high-level academic institutions, and cooperated with professionals from various backgrounds (medical science, chemistry, biology, statistics, bioengineering, nutrition…).
- She specialized in topics including medical, health care, bio-tech products, nutritional supplement, etc. She has extensive in-depth interview experience, especially in healthcare professionals.
Doris Chen
Assistant Research Manager

- More than 3-year experience in marketing research
- Doris Chen has a strong marketing research background and got an MBA degree at National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. She conducted various topics for quantitative research in graduate school and has joined Viewpoint since 2016.
- She has executed many marketing research projects, including both quantitative and qualitative research. She specializes in sampling plans, brand research, financial, lifestyle, FMCG topics, media behavior issues, and etc. Furthermore, she is good at data analyzing and marketing trend observation.
Sam Lu

- Master degree of Statistics from National Central University, Taiwan
- 13 years experience on statistic analysis and programming designs
- Sam is a professional DP on statistic analysis. In addition to the planning of sampling, coding, data entry, he is more specialized on statistic operation, including basic and complex analysis.
- He specialized in designing and developing program, whether it’s off-line or on-line projects.
- He can master the quality of the highest level for the data analysis and processing, and be able to use the most appropriate statistical methods to analyze the data to meet the client’s needs.
